Futures For Children

Every child deserves to enjoy a meal with comfort and dignity.

At Shakti Balashram in Rayagada, 100 students from Scheduled Caste communities live, study, and dream of a better future. While they receive education and care, they still sit on the floor for every meal because the hostel lacks proper dining furniture.

A dining table may seem like a simple piece of furniture, but for these children it means hygiene, comfort, confidence, and the feeling of being valued.

We need your help to change that. We’re raising funds to buy simple dining sets so each child can sit at a table and eat comfortably, hygienically and with dignity.

What we need

100 chairs — ₹1,000 per chair — total ₹100,000

25 tables — ₹3,700 per table — total ₹92,500

Total needed: ₹192,500

Why this matters

Health and hygiene: Raised tables reduce contact with dirt and pests and are easier to clean.

Comfort and concentration: Comfortable seating improves digestion and helps children rest and learn better afterwards.
