Vision

To work as resource center, catalyzing sustainable development to build a society where every person is healthy, economically well off and literate.

Mission

To facilitate the development process to improve the Quality of the lives of the deprived classes of the society, especially the tribal, marginalized and women through participatory action and to enhance the capacity of the people’s organization, ensuring Sustainability.”

Our objectives fall into the following categories:

  • Improvement of the well being of tribal people
  • Improvement of livelihood security (including by the diversification of livelihood options)
  • Improvement of agricultural techniques & practices and the strengthening of access to markets for marginalised producers
  • The improvement of water provision, sanitation and utilities, including the use of renewable energy
  • The empowerment of women and community organisations
  • The strengthening of the Panchayatraj Institutions (including via Capacity Building training programmes)
  • The improvement of access to the labour market through the development of awareness of entitlements, e.g. MGNREGA etc, and mobilization for uptake of these
  • The welfare of children and the provision of community health care
  • The organisation of unorganised labour
  • “Help a child to live like a child” – the rehabilitation of children in need
  • Disaster preparedness, rescue and rehabilitation of affected people
  • The care of old aged people in need
  • The integration of community development through village micro planning, establishment of Community Based Organisations (CBOs), Self Help Groups (SHG), and development programme convergence
