Shakti Organisation, in collaboration with Just Rights for Children and DLSA, participated in the 'Bal Vivah Mukt Bharat' campaign by leading a rally and oath-taking ceremony at Women’s College, Rayagada. Hundreds of students joined us in taking a stand against child marriage, showcasing their awareness by sharing helpline numbers and learning how to seek help.

In addition, hundreds of villagers, village chiefs, child marriage protection officers (CMPOs), Asha workers, Anganwadi workers, and women from the district also took the oath and participated in this district-wide program. This campaign announced by Department of Women and Child Development Minister Annpurna Devi on November 27, aiming to end child marriage. The campaign will reach hashtag#25_crore_people and encourages village panchayats and schools across the country to take the oath against child marriage.
